Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 5, 2025
Introduction: InvenPro (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the InvenPro inventory management software/application (our “Service”). This Policy applies to users in the United States and Canada only. By using InvenPro, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the Service.
Information Collection
We collect personal and business information necessary to provide and improve our Service. This includes:
  • Account & Contact Information: When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, business name, business address, email address, phone number, and login credentials (username and password).

  • Payment Information: If you subscribe to paid features, you provide payment details (such as credit card number and billing address) directly to our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not receive or store your full credit card number or sensitive payment details on our servers. Stripe processes all transactions on our behalf in accordance with its own security standards and privacy policies (Stripe Privacy Policy). We may receive limited information from Stripe, such as confirmation of payment, billing status, or the last four digits of your card, which we use for recordkeeping and account management. Users may also subscribe through the Apple App Store, in which case payments are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s own terms and privacy policies (Apple Privacy Policy); we do not collect or store your Apple payment details.

  • Inventory Data: We collect data that you input into the Service about your inventory (e.g. product details, stock levels, item descriptions, transaction histories). This information is considered confidential business data and remains under your control; we handle it to operate the Service for you.

  • Usage and Device Data: When you interact with our website or application, we automatically collect certain technical data. This may include your device’s IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and activity logs (such as pages visited and actions taken). We may use cookies or similar technologies to remember your preferences and enhance user experience.

Sources of Data: You provide most of the information directly when registering or using InvenPro. We may also gather some data automatically through technology (for example, via cookies when you navigate our site). We do not obtain personal information from third-party sources about you, except as needed for services like payment processing or if you choose to integrate InvenPro with other tools.
Use of Information
We use the collected information for the following business purposes:
  • Providing and Improving the Service: We process your information to create and manage your account, authenticate you at login, and operate the inventory management features you use. Inventory data is used solely to deliver our inventory tracking, reporting, and related functionalities to your business. We also analyze usage data to troubleshoot issues, enhance features, and improve our software’s performance and usability.

  • Communication: We use contact information (like email) to send you important notices about your account, such as confirmations, invoices, system alerts, and updates about the Service. We may also respond to your support inquiries or comments. With your consent or as otherwise permitted, we might send occasional promotional communications about new features or offerings; you can opt out of marketing emails at any time.

  • Transactions and Billing: We use payment and billing information to process subscription fees or other transactions you authorize. This includes transmitting your payment details to our payment processor to complete payments and keeping records of your purchase history for accounting, order tracking, and billing support.

  • Security and Fraud Prevention: Information (including automatically collected device/usage data and login activity) is used to maintain the security of our Service, verify identity, detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized use, and enforce our terms of use.

  • Legal Compliance: We may use your information as necessary to comply with applicable U.S. or Canadian laws, regulations, legal processes, or enforceable governmental requests.

  • Other Legitimate Business Purposes: We might use data in other limited ways to support our operations, such as aggregating and anonymizing your information to generate statistical insights or industry trends. These aggregated insights will not identify any individual or business and may be used for marketing or improvement of our services.

We will not use personal information for purposes incompatible with those outlined above without obtaining your consent.

  • Business Transfers: If InvenPro is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or corporate reorganization, your information may be transferred to the successor or new owner as part of that transaction. In such cases, we will ensure the recipient commits to protect your personal data consistent with this Privacy Policy.

  • Employee/Contractor Access:Our employees and contractors may be given limited access to personal and business data only when required to perform their duties. All such personnel are bound by confidentiality obligations and agreements, and are required to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

  • Legal Requirements and Protection: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, enforce our terms, investigate fraud, or protect the rights, property, or safety of InvenPro, our users, or others.

  • With Your Consent: We will share your personal information outside of the above circumstances only if you direct us to or explicitly consent to such sharing.

When we share information with third parties, we provide only the minimum data necessary. Third parties who receive your information do not have independent rights to use your data for their own purposes unless you have separately agreed under their own privacy policies.
Data Retention
We retain personal and business data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide you the Service. After termination, we may retain limited information for backup, legal compliance, or dispute resolution, generally no longer than 24 months unless required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or accounting). Data may be anonymized or securely deleted once it is no longer needed.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, improve performance, and analyze usage. Essential cookies are required for login and security. Analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) may help us understand usage trends. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some Service features may not work properly. We do not use cookies for targeted advertising.
Data Security and Breach Notification
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption, firewalls, and restricted access. While we strive for security, no method is 100% secure. If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you promptly, as required by applicable law, via email and/or in-app notice, and take appropriate steps to mitigate the impact.
Healthcare Data Disclaimer
InvenPro is not designed to be a HIPAA-compliant service by default. If you are a healthcare organization subject to HIPAA requirements, you must not store Protected Health Information (PHI) in the Service unless we have entered into a separate Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with you. Without such an agreement, InvenPro disclaims liability for handling PHI.

Our Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13.
